International Education of Chinese Language
The Yew Wah International Education Foundation
and the Yew Chung Education Foundation co-organise the annual Chinese
teachers' workshop as the prime training programme for their Chinese
teachers. The workshop serves as an exchange platform for teachers
from both Foundations, and aims to consolidate and enhance their
teaching experience that has been accumulated over the years. Teachers
are able to share their teaching experience and learn from each other
ways in which the overall education excellence of both Yew Wah and
Yew Chung can be further enriched. At the same time, teachers are
invited to study and discuss the internationalisation of Chinese
language teaching, theories and practices of teaching Chinese as
the first and second language, aspects which are considered significant
in opening up new horizons of Chinese language teaching.
