Lower Secondary
The Yew Wah International Education Schools of Yantai (YWIES-YT) offers a lower secondary programme. It is a school-based curriculum developed with the Chinese National Curriculum as the basis, and an injection of the Checkpoint System from the Cambridge International Examinations. It effectively
improves students' English proficiency as well as their abilities
to study other subjects in English. At the same time, it draws on
the strength of the national curriculum which offers solid education
of subjects like Maths, languages, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The Programme is an ideal preparation for junior school students
who want to enter an International General Certificate of Secondary
Education (IGCSE) programme or local Secondary programme.
