Continuing Education
In view of the trends of enhancing quality, building
digital networking, internationalisation, extension, and market formation
of the industry of education and knowledge in the 21st century, Yew
Wah feels obligated to promote whole person education and lifelong
learning to cater for the demands of the new century, and nurture
elites with international mindedness.
Three branches of the Yew Wah Arts and Language Centre (YALC) are
set up in Shanghai, Beijing and Yantai, offering international education,
vocational training, English language courses, Chinese language courses
and
music and arts programmes for local and overseas students, adults
and corporations. It is one of the strategic solutions for manpower
in knowledge society by the promotion and offer of continuing education
with international education accreditation.
YALC is the authorised ESOL examination centre of the London Chamber
of Commerce and Industry Examination Board (LCCIEB), Education Development
International (EDI) and Trinity College London, and the major partner
University of Bath in Mainland China
to offer
the training programmes and examination services of these widely
recognised institutions.
